Después de mucho tiempo de espera, finalmente el martes 15 de septiembre Microsoft lanzará Project xCloud, su plataforma de videojuegos en streaming. Por consiguiente, los de Redmond están ultimando todos los detalles de un servicio que, por cierto, estará incluido en Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Si eres una de las personas que disfrutarán el servicio, es importante que sepas cuáles son los títulos que conforman la extensa biblioteca, entre otras cosas.
En primer lugar, debemos aclarar que Project xCloud solo estará disponible en los siguientes países: España, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Austria, Bélgica, República Checa, Dinamarca, Finlandia, Francia, Alemania, Hungría, Irlanda, Italia, Países Bajos, Noruega, Polonia, Portugal, Eslovaquia, Corea del Sur, Suecia, Suiza y Reino Unido. Desafortunadamente no sabemos cuando aterrizará en Latinoamérica, pero puedes estar seguro que no ocurrirá en 2020.
Otro detalle a considerar es que, durante el lanzamiento, Project xCloud únicamente se podrá usar en dispositivos Android. Aunque Microsoft tiene la intención de ofrecerlo a través de iOS, las políticas de Apple no han facilitado esa posibilidad. Pese a lo anterior, la empresa de la manzana cambió recientemente sus normas para ser más amigable con los servicios de videojuegos en streaming. Eso sí, siguen existiendo reglas importantes que los interesados deben cumplir.
Más de 150 juegos en el lanzamiento de Project xCloud
¿Cuáles títulos podré jugar? Muchísimos, más de 150. Recuerda que todos los juegos de Xbox Game Pass también se podrán disfrutar vía streaming siempre y cuando seas suscriptor de Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Una de sus principales características es que puedes iniciar una partida de Gears 5 en tu consola Xbox y luego continuar con ella en tu smartphone o tablet, ya que tu perfil "vive" en la nube.
